At TechFirst we believe in and strive to follow the eternal principles of growth and success. These immutable laws are what every person who has ever succeeded over the long term has followed. They are even the very laws that Jesus Christ, the God of the Old Testament followed in His efforts to atone for the sins of mankind. The agony He went through to win that victory for each and every person who has ever lived or will ever live upon this earth, caused even Him, the God who spoke to Moses on the mount, and who empowered Moses to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt on dry ground through the waters of the Red Sea, to “tremble because of pain, and to bleed at every pore, and to suffer both body and spirit.” (Doctrine and Covenants 19:18) If even God had to be pushed to His ends to succeed, to win, then we too must do the same.
And while we will never achieve the lofty realms which Jesus Christ attained, we can learn from and follow His example as best we can. As part of following that example, we commit to pushing and striving to learn and grow, to strive through the stress that comes before success, the torment before the triumph, the pain that comes before progress, the adversity that comes before achievement, and the vexation before victory. We commit to persevering in faith, trusting that our God will bestow upon us all we need after we have grown sufficiently strong, and we know that most often the help we need, will often come through helping those who have less than we do, accordingly, we commit to regularly taking time to help our neighbors. We trust that we will find joy and strength to continue our journey as we continue to lift those in need who God puts in our path.
Accordingly, as our journey is not a sprint, but an ultra-marathon, one that starts from the moment we enter into this life and continues until the day we leave this life and go to stand before our maker, we also recognize the critical need of truly caring for ourselves and in continuously growing and learning. And as our lives are not capable of truly being separated into different buckets and that what we do at home will inevitably spill over into our work, and what we do at work will inevitably spill over into our home lives, we commit to engaging in personal care, of body, mind, and soul. We recognize that while there are many universal truths that will apply to everyone, how those truths will apply to the individual will vary and that when you also factor in the needs of their family, that the needs of the individual might further change.
So, with those eternal truths of success in mind and the uniqueness that each individual brings to the table, along with the need to care for ourselves and our families in such a way that we can faithfully push forward through the struggles of success that we so willingly embrace, we commit to providing our employees the time and resources they need to truly care for themselves as they help push TechFirst, and themselves into a bold new future that each of us can be proud of.
In summary, we commit to providing our employees daily time to study and further develop their skills, time to care for their physical needs and ensure they stay active enough for proper health, and through ensuring that each employee has what they need to know to properly nourish not only their bodies, but the bodies of their family members.
As of writing this, there is a lot we do not know. We only have one employee, and his wife to think about, but as we continue to grow, and follow the joyful journey will be using the lessons we learn to help our neighbors, we will update this to include more details from the universal truths we will apply to each employee.
